Lewis Arnold Dill

The Dill/McKee family regretfully announces the passing of Lou Dill. Born Lewis Arnold Dill to Doreen and Murray Dill born in Kentville, Nova Scotia in 1954. Lou is survived by his daughter Jennifer Dill-McKee, her husband Shane McKee and their four children; Conor, Chloe, Emma (RIP) and Cooper. His son Brian Dill, his wife Jamie Dill and their son Mason. His sisters Linda Murphy, Donna Irvine (RIP), Pauline (Red) Symond, Debbie Reid and grandparents since passed Ralph and Laura Lenihan. Lou is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends that will miss him greatly.  

Lou supported his family as a furnace operator at Norton for his 30+ year career and was always cracking a joke to get a laugh, but most of all; he made it a priority to provide his children with lifelong memories and succeeded with their many adventures at Sandhurst Resort in Burksfalls, ON. He took his family camping every season where they spent most of their time in their boat on the water, skidoo-ing and dirt biking. Many of his children’s friends were invited to participate, creating lasting memories for them as well.

Lou was a great dad, an even better papa and will be missed beyond measure.

A cremation has already taken place and a date for his celebration of life will be announced and held at a later date.
