Lorraine Dorothy Milner (nee Breadon)

It is with great sadness that the family of Lorraine Dorothy Milner, nee Breadon, announces her passing on the evening of August 15th, 2024, at the Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering Hospital, in Ajax, Ontario, Canada.

Lorraine was 65 years of age at the time of her passing, born on November 7th, 1958 in Tettenhall Wood, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England to her parents, John Andrew Breadon, 1919-2002 and Dorothy Lydia Breadon nee Greenaway, 1925-2021.

Lorraine was predeceased by her eldest sister Kathleen Elizabeth 1951-2021.

Predeceased by her first husband Peter Edward Milner, 1955-1996.

Lorraine will be dearly missed by her spouse, George Kolosowski, her daughter Tara Milner, her son Eric Milner, and sisters Audrey and Eileen.

Loving Nana to Liam Eric Milner, born 2008.

Lorraine will be remembered as a gentle and kind-hearted individual. Lorraine had the biggest personality.  She loved to sing and write poetry. Her 1996 national award winning poem, Riddles, was published in the book of poetry, Beneath the Harvest Moon, page 429.

Lorraine loved animals, her dogs and cats. Her little shih tzu, Angel, was always by her side.  Lorraine fed the birds, rabbits, chipmunks, squirrels in her backyard and loved to watch them from her sunroom.

Lorraine's final resting place, her interment, is to be very close to her parents, at the Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens, Cemetery Grounds in Ajax, Ontario.

Any donations, please, if they could be given to a local animal shelter, would be appreciated.

Riddles

Over the hill and into a stream bare footed walking as if in a dream

You keep on going now knowing why because if you stop you did not try

To find the answer to your own riddle you feel you may cry but it ends with a giggle

                                                                                                                                    Lorraine Breadon
