Richard Alan May

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Richard Alan May quietly in his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was 71 years old.

Rick was predeceased by his parents George and Shirley May.

He is survived by his wife Pat, his brother David (Roseanna), children Justin (Teri Ann), Reagan (De’Von), Adam (Alicia), Christian and Mary. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Cody, Calvin, Austin, Kiya, Riley, Jade (Kaden), Kari (Ryan), Isaiah, Emily, Aubrey, and great grandson Tyus, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and God children.

Rick was a man who loved his family, his friends. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a loving papa to many foster children for 39 years.   He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone that needed it. You could count on him. He worked hard his whole life and took pride in the work he did. He was the most honest man I have ever known, with the biggest heart. He was well loved and respected by all who knew him.

Funeral arrangements are as follows:  A funeral service at St. Martin’s Anglican Church, Saturday, June 1st. at 2 pm. 1203 St. Martins Dr., Pickering, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are welcome.
